Update of Plans

We completed all we can do on the Standish Avenue build today. Over the last 3 Saturday's Eastside volunteers completed the dance floor, exterior walls for the first floor and pre-fabbed exterior walls for the second floor. This house is the first house to be sponsored by Ohio National and the kick-off is May 30. Since, the kick-off is to include a wall raising (raising the front wall on the 1st floor) construction has to stop as there is nothing that can be done now until that front wall is in place. Thank you Eastside Volunteers! John Kollie (Partner Family) and Jim Yostman (Site Leader) are grateful for your help. Progress is occurring on the Eastside/Thrivent sites on Hallwood. Foundation walls have been poured and it is looking like we can begin with volunteers on Hallwood on May 30. Unfortunately, this means that we will cancel the St. Vincent volunteer day on Saturday, May 23. The Wednesday crew plans to return to Northern Aveune this week (close to the Zoo) to complete more punch list items on a build nearing completion.
